As we scale, operational excellence is critical to our success. We’re hiring a Head of Operations to build and maintain the systems that drive alignment, accountability, and velocity across the company.
The Role
At PIP Labs, operations is about enabling high-velocity execution without sacrificing transparency or structure.
You will diagnose operational friction, architect scalable systems, drive cross-team visibility, and allow our founders to focus on strategic growth by managing the complexity of scaling day-to-day operations.
This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role with significant leadership exposure and growth potential.

Responsibilities

  • Own the design, tracking, and communication of company and team-level OKRs as the senior operational leader across the entire company
  • Drive cross-team coordination and maintain visibility across all functions (engineering, marketing, finance, incubation)
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks proactively, treating the company as a product
  • Design and implement new processes and workflows across the company where necessary, and remove processes where irrelevant
  • Shield founders from day-to-day operational cadence while escalating relevant high-priority issues
  • Surface risks and operational blockers via brief escalations or structured writeups, depending on severity
  • Build a culture of transparency, accountability, and goal-driven execution

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in operational leadership roles, ideally at scaling startups (10→100 or 50→200 employees)
  • Strong background with OKRs, cross-functional project management, and organizational scaling
  • Ability to independently design, optimize, and enforce operational systems
  • Strong, confident decision-maker who thrives under ambiguity
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort escalating appropriately based on issue severity
  • Strong collaborator able to build rapport and deep and trusting relationships with execs across areas of the company
  • Familiarity with decentralized technologies, blockchain, or crypto ecosystems is a plus but not required

  • Systems thinker who views operational processes as products to continuously improve
  • High degree of autonomy and ability to reprioritize independently
  • Experience handling operational health for fast-moving technical teams
